Section 1: Introduction to Asthma, COPD, and Inhalers
These PowerPoint Presentation videos are both the same PowerPoint presentation, presented by our two Certified Respiratory Educators. These presentations run roughly 15 minutes in length, but will be crucial to your understanding of Asthma, COPD and why you use the inhalers that you're prescribed.
We strongly encourage you to start here, before proceeding onto your inhaler devices.
Choose your desired Educator and become familiar with your pathology and your inhalers.

Section 2: Inhaler Devices
Navigate the web page by scrolling down to find the inhaler device that is applicable to you. This section will be organized with two videos pertaining to each inhaler device. One of the videos will be a lengthy and comprehensive information PowerPoint presentation presented to you by one of our Certified Respiratory Educators, the other will be a quick live demonstration on strictly how to properly use the inhaler device. We strongly encourage you to watch both, in efforts to better understand the inhaler devices.
MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler) + Spacer; the most common device prescribed. These devices should always be used with a Spacer - extensive research supports better distribution of medication into the lungs while using a Spacer. Used for Ventolin, Atrovent, Advair, Alvesco, Flovent, QVar, Zenhale and more.
**(Not to be confused with the AeroSphere device, containing Breztri)**

AeroSphere, (MDI without Spacer); the AeroSphere device is a MDI, but due to its dry-power suspension, doesn't require a spacer. Currently, the only medication available in this device is Breztri. We always encourage the use of a Spacer for other MDI devices that aren't the AeroSphere, to help effectively distribute the medication into the lungs.
